Yoga Tools for Schools 2nd annual dinner dance was held on Saturday 8 October at Masala Indian Cuisine in Palmer Street.
Our theme this year was Indian attire with the most delicious Indian 3 course banquet served by Masala. Guests were amazed by how flavoursome the food served to them was.
Thanks to our official photographer on hand Fiona Harding, we have shared some of the wonderful photos with you below.
Our entertainment was kicked off by local soloist/guitarist Nick Mitchell from Mitchell Music. Nick is a very talented local musician who by the way is available for gigs, so if you’re looking for entertainment for your next party, you can find information on Nick in the newsletter.
Next came two simply gorgeous belly dancers Jordan Galliott and Wendy Clark. These girls were dressed to impress. Guests were mesmerised by their talent in showcasing Indian style belly dance to Indian music. Then it was our turn and the entire restaurant was up on their feet, wiggling hips and bobbling heads, so much fun.
We had prizes awarded for best dressed, lucky door prizes and raffles on the night which finished up at around 11pm.
All in all we raised just over $1,200 for YTFS and cannot thank our supporters, sponsors and those that attended enough for making the evening the success it was.
